A residence resonating with a botanical ballet of texture, form, and emotion
“Canopy Crest is more than a home– it is a layered, sculptural, and emotionally resonant experience. Canopy Crest is more of a meditation than a statement. It is a tribute to conscious design, in which biophilia is a way of thinking rather than a motif.” — The Blue Wall Studio.
Canopy Crest, designed by Vidhi Duggad Bhagat of The Blue Wall Studio, is a haven that changes the everyday hectic life into a real, emotional experience. The concept behind Canopy Crest was to create an afferent experience where art meets architecture, where materials thrive, and where every part is bright but understated, passionate but serene. The name Canopy Crest, which means lush, green, and full of life, captures the character of the property.

The colour scheme echoes with the thought process “Nature is the basis of storytelling!”–never loud, always expressive. Greens bring in vibrancy and connection to nature, while charcoal blacks add depth and grounding. Beiges, greys, and whites provided balance and breathability.
The entrance opens like an artistic overture, with warm wood tones, charcoal black textured tiles, and a curving mirror that elegantly breaks the symmetry. A botanical wallpaper, lush greens, and a custom marble console welcome you in with a subtle crescendo. The highlight of the event is Hive’s shimmering glass-blown work, poised like dewdrops frozen in time.

An arching green wall, crafted in 3D layers, is the centre of attention in living and dining areas. Curved furniture in ivory and ochre gives tenderness, while a bespoke marble coffee table replicates the roughness of natural rock formations.

The dining area’s palette softens up with a mustard floral wallpaper that sparkles like a canvas. A sculptural marble-top table grounds the area beneath another glass piece. The circular green panels and wave motifs gently vibrate across the rooms, connecting them without overwhelming them.

The master bedroom is a sanctuary of earthy drama, with softened walls and richer colours. A unique hand-tufted carpet headboard by Soisu wraps around the bed like a sculptural hug, blurring the distinction between furniture and art. The hues of burnt sienna, olive, teal, and ochre pulse with comfort and passion. The sons’ rooms communicate in lower tones but never lack texture. Despite their various moods, they share the home’s material language: dark stone veneers, beaded mirrors, blue accents, and layered grey.

Nature is never far away, even in the bathrooms, where Panda marble and organic stone tell the same tale in different dialects. The kitchen surprises with its quirky design, with green acrylic shutters that exude freshness and warm veneers that reflect the living space. The use of white Statuario marble grounds everything in beauty. Throughout the home, light plays a vital role. With sweeping city views and abundant natural light, window treatments are kept minimal.
