The handdesigned shapes emphasize the space’s key advantage in a perfect dance between nature and luxury. A fitting design for an entrance; the semi-rings are both evocative and soothing.
The wood is transformed and elevated with the beaten brass on the table. A brass fixture in the background highlights the luxury touch without being overbearing. The subtle lighting fixtures compel passing individuals to pause and have a look. Moreover, teakwood has been used to create the life-size pinecone that graces the halls of the hotel. Several artworks created and curated by Baaya for interior styling spin a riveting story across the rooms. The project was completed under the conceptual framework provided by And studio (Love Chaudhary).
Inspired by the woods and pine cones surrounding Hyatt Regency Dehradun, the lobby mural stands out for its fine craftsmanship. In addition to the saw cut preserved in transparent resin, Baaya also customized a wooden backing to enhance the balance between luxury and nature.
